TED Conference

TEDAI is a leading TED conference exploring the impact and power of AI.
Launched in 2023 as the first standalone TED conference focused on AI, TEDAI established itself as a platform for conversations exploring the impact, opportunities, and challenges of one of the most transformative technologies of our time.
I joined TEDAI San Francisco in 2024 on social media and digital storytelling. In 2025, I became Head of Marketing & Design, running the conference’s marketing, communications, creative direction, and digital presence.
A large part of the role was building the marketing and creative team from the ground up — a cross-functional group of 10+ people across marketing, design, content, social, video, web, and communications.

In 2025, we had the opportunity to evolve the TEDAI brand.
Beyond refreshing the visual identity, we developed a new positioning, voice, and communication system that became the foundation for marketing, audience growth, and community engagement.
The goal was to create a brand experience that could resonate with a global audience shaping the future of AI while honoring the legacy of TED.
From the newsletter to the app, website, merch, and event program, the same visual system carried through every touchpoint.

TEDAI SF 2025 was themed “Are We Bold Enough?”. I led brand and creative direction, speaker communications, partnerships, social media, newsletters, the website, event promotion, video content, and on-site communications.
This covered positioning, speaker launches, partner campaigns, a newsletter to 15K+ people, social content, event pages, and the digital experience around the conference.
Alongside the conference, I helped build and promote TEDAI Signals, a series of smaller community events. The series had 1,000+ waitlist sign-ups, with individual events drawing hundreds of RSVPs for limited-capacity gatherings.
Beyond campaigns, a major part of the role was building the team and operating structure behind them.
I recruited and onboarded a multidisciplinary team, matched people to the right areas of ownership, and set up processes for collaboration. I worked with leadership, speakers, partners, designers, developers, content creators, and event teams to keep the brand consistent.
This turned individual contributors into a coordinated team able to support TEDAI’s growing programming and community.

The 2025 flagship conference took place at San Francisco’s Herbst Theatre, followed by programming at SHACK15, bringing together founders, researchers, artists, investors, and technology leaders to examine where AI is taking us—and what responsibility we have in shaping what comes next.
